# No.

Some polling locations will be different for the July 28 runoff from the June 2 primary. Some precincts have consolidated polling places, according to a [map](https://sdsos.gov/elections-voting/upcoming-elections/general-information/2026%20Election%20Information/2026%20Election%20Assets/Runoff/PrecinctPollingPlaces%20for%20Runoff.pdf?ref=sdnewswatch.org) provided by the Secretary of State’s website.

Voters can also view their polling place location for primary and general elections at the Secretary of State’s [Voter Information Portal](https://vip.sdsos.gov/VIPLogin.aspx?ref=sdnewswatch.org).

[Absentee ballots](https://sdsos.gov/elections-voting/voting/absentee-voting.aspx?ref=sdnewswatch.org) can be tracked on the website. Voters can track their absentee ballot applications and the date absentee ballots were sent and received by the county for the primary and general elections.

An absentee ballot may be requested by a voter confined due to sickness or disability through an authorized messenger until [3 p.m. on Election Day.](https://sdsos.gov/elections-voting/upcoming-elections/general-information/2026%20Election%20Information/2026%20Election%20Assets/Runoff/2026RUN-OFFCalendar.pdf?ref=sdnewswatch.org)

Polls are open today, July 28, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. local time for the Republican runoff between Toby Doeden and Gov. Larry Rhoden. The winner will meet Democrat Dan Ahlers in the Nov. 3 general election.
